aguar, as an automotive name, feels like part of the furniture — it’s hard to imagine motoring history without it. While Jaguar was never the largest producer of cars by volume, what did roll out of its factory doors was always purposeful: models designed with the driver in mind. Comfort, power, and aesthetics have long defined the marque. With Scorpion’s British heritage and Jaguar’s embodiment of British motoring, it’s a natural match — designed and developed in the UK, a must for the discerning Jaguar driver.
Key Features:
Road-Test Review:
During our road test, we took the development Jaguar F-Type R Convertible (2015) out for a run to evaluate the new system. The muffled, choked factory soundtrack was tossed aside in favour of a brand-new Scorpion cat-back system — unleashing the 5.0-litre supercharged V8 like never before.
The raw, audible sound delivered an infectious energy, stirring the inner petrolhead in all of us. With a barking, muscle car-esque tone under throttle as the RPMs climbed, and a tasteful over-fuelling burble on lift-off, the system brought the F-Type to life. We found it did full justice to a true driver’s car equipped with a powerplant this impressive.
Cat-Back System:
Our expert technicians have developed a 63.5mm/2.5” Cat-back system with quad 90mm tailpipes, specifically for the Jaguar F-Type R model. Explore the full specification breakdown and available options below!
This exhaust is non-resonated, meaning it comes without a centre silencer. Removing the original silencer results in a louder sound.
Does our system retain valve functionality? Yes! Drivers can continue to control the car's soundtrack via the mode select button inside the car. This allows the ECU to modulate the sound levels emitted from your Scorpion exhaust.
Once installed, the acoustically tuned silencers — featuring specialised, unique internals (on systems equipped with mid-silencers or backboxes) — and precision CNC mandrel-bent pipework enable the exhaust system to expel engine gases more efficiently. This results in enhanced power delivery, sharper throttle response, and reduced curb weight, thanks to the full stainless-steel construction. Designed for durability, our system offers exceptional longevity, even in the harshest conditions.
Tailpipe Style:
Daytona: This design needs no introduction, the classic Scorpion Daytona slash-cut style with a modern twist on a timeless look. The Daytona is a great-looking option for everything from hot hatchbacks to flagship autobahn saloons.
Tailpipe Finishes:
Polished: Premium T304 stainless steel polished trims undergo a meticulous multi-step buffing process, resulting in a long-lasting, mirror-like finish that stays shining.
Black Ceramic: The matte black finish provides a stealthy, modern look. The tailpipes undergo a specialised coating process, ensuring a durable and flawless finish.
Sports Cat Downpipes:
Ready to push the limits? We offer high-flow downpipes for enthusiasts seeking superior tuning potential — whether on the dyno or at the track. Scorpion’s advanced downpipe technology delivers uncompromising engine performance.
Installing these downpipes, combined with a supporting remap, increases horsepower, improves gas flow for enhanced efficiency, and amplifies the exhaust note for a more aggressive sound. For maximum gains over OEM, choose our 200-cell sport catalyst option. (For motorsport use only.)
Interchangeable Programme:
Scorpion’s interchangeable program offers flexible upgrades, allowing your exhaust to evolve with your tuning stages. Whether you’re looking to change the exhaust trim for aesthetics or require increased tuning capability with high-flow pipework, our system adapts to your needs.
Always check each product's technical data for fitment details before purchasing, as compatibility may vary, and interchangeability is not always guaranteed.
The Scorpion Advantage:
Precision-engineered Scorpion exhausts incorporate our cutting-edge track-to-road technology, sharing proven motorsport tech with you. Crafted from premium T304 stainless steel, designed to endure the harshest of conditions. CNC Mandrel bent construction provides unmatched gas-flow, enhancing throttle response and boosting BHP. The manufacturing process also ensures weight-saving gains compared to OEM.
